Hall of Fame Exhibit
Winter/Spring 2015
Yes, it was an icy, cold winter for a couple of weeks, but thankfully that is history. The hard part of opening and closing the coop every day was the 2" of ice. Son, Paul, came up with the solution which I must share with you below. My jazzy golf shoes with sharp plastic cleats did the trick and saved me from sliding out to the electric fence.
Finally, Spring is busting out all over with daffodils in bloom
The raffle quilt for the fall Asheville Quilt Show was unfurled with great acceptance. I am proud to be in the Bee group. Professional Textile Artists, that made this quilt from all of our blue and white scraps. The long arm quilter was Rachel Reese. It is just beautiful and worthy of a ticket to win.
The date has changed this year to October 2, 3 4th so mark your calendar. www.ashevillequiltguild.org
Stitching away every day in my Quilt Built studio getting ready to teach a workshop and lecture at the April Asheville Guild meeting. I am very excited to be invited to this prestigious guild. The lecture is April 21st, an evening meeting with the workshop the next day. We will be making mountains using the interrupted rectangle method.
